Paul & Naomi Wicki were called to Port Alberni 5 years ago to start a new gospel-centred church in the beautiful rain forest of Vancouver Island! God has blessed the work in Port Alberni as a solid core team has been formed, a building purchased, and growing numbers of people are exploring the claims of Christ.
Gateway’s vision statement is “helping people transform into Jesus worshipers.” Gateway believes that everyone is on a spiritual journey and we are excited about inviting others to discover an incredible life which is centered on Jesus. Gateway is excited about practically addressing needs and seeing God move in a mighty way in Port Alberni.
Pray for this congregation as they move toward independence in the next year. Local leaders are being called out and trained, and the church is self-supporting for which we praise God!
