community of Grandview Heights in South Surrey, I am amazed at how new people, who have moved into the community, are looking to discover new and meaningful connections with others. Emmaus is a new Churc
h in this expanding community, and our desire is to help people, not only connect with others, but ultimately to connect with the person of Jesus Christ.
When many of us think about church, a building on the corner of an intersection comes to mind, or the place where we went to for a wedding or a funeral. Emmaus does not have a building, and yet we are discovering that a church is more about the people who are seeking to be faithfully centered on Jesus and His teachings, which are found in the whole bible.
At Emmaus we are regular people, discovering that our God really is interested in our lives, and that we can experience his hope, find purpose, and connection with others.
I would like to invite you to join us for coffee at our weekly gathering. We begin around 10 am Sunday mornings at Pacific Heights Elementary School, (17148 26th Ave.) follow the signs on 24th Ave. and 168thstreet. Looking forward to meeting you.
